Children have an easier time learning languages--we all know that. Most of it is due to the natural high capacity to learn all children share--a capacity that deteriorates with time. But some of the advantages children have over adults who decide to learn nw languages is that children are given more tools to succeed. This video, for example, is aimed at children. But compare this fun video to the videos most adult learners have to watch, and you will see another reason for the success of children when it comes to new languages. Because while children will learn one letter at a time, with helpful drawings to assist them, adults will look at a video like that and complain. But the more they comlain, the less it is likly that they will learn the English language.
